- We only lost one match to postponement to end this matchweek leaving three matches to pick from. Only Manchester City's throttling of Newcastle was left without usage.
- But while the picks were spread out over two different matches, all of them still ended up in London with three apiece for Chelsea and Spurs. Five of the selections were Pick One debutantes.
- Chelsea and Wolves did not exceed the low expectations going in with a scoreless draw with two combined shots on target. With a rash of injuries, Chelsea had to use American Christian Pulisic up front. Scott did not get much from him unfortunately as he lost the ball nearly half the time he received it and made poor work of what little service he was provided. He finished with a 6.2 rating.
- Inversely, Ryan and Trevor benefited from the slog as they both broke the 7.0 barrier with Reece James (7.2) and Antonio Rudiger (7.5) respectively without breaking much of a sweat. Rudiger's better passing from the back (92%) and ball retention allowed him to score higher despite getting booked.
- Spurs were able to get a valuable draw against Liverpool at home but to be fair had Andrew's pick Dele Alli been more clinical they could have had all three points. He missed two absolutely golden opportunities to extend Tottenham's advantage and his passing to Harry Kane and Heung-min Son was dreadful all match. Had they not drawn it can be only assumed a 6.5 rating would have not been there. That was just slightly ahead of Greg's Last Man In Sergio Reguilon (6.4).
- Having already taken Kane and Son, Matt defaulted his way down the pitch with Harry Winks and ended up with the day's top score in the process. Winks was an incredibly disruptive force in the Spurs midfield throwing himself at numerous shots and making crucial tackles. His yellow card even came from a professional foul to stop a Liverpool break with numbers in the Reds favor. A 7.7 without a goal, assist, or clean sheet is rare but isn't at all out of place here.
- The optimal score came from our lone neglected match as Joao Cancelo went for an 8.5 against Newcastle. The Portuguese international filled the stat sheet against the Magpies with a goal, assist, clean sheet, and a perfect dribble record.
