- Eight matches were on the schedule for the day yet only three saw usage.
- The first one didn't quite go as planned for Ryan as Watford put four past Victor Lindelof and Manchester United. It was a match that finally put the nail in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's managerial coffin at Old Trafford and with that the Swede was only able to muster a 6.3 rating in the defeat.
- Per the usual circumstances, the final match on the docket was the one that had the most players selected from it.
- Only one of the four selections from Liverpool/Arsenal came from the Gunners, which for Scott was unfortunate. It is rare for somebody of Bukayo Saka's talents to be so invisible in a big match but that was exactly the case against the Reds as he lost the ball every one out of three times he got it on his way to a 6.0.
- Tyler Morton made both his Pick One and Liverpool debut as the Last Man In for both Greg and Matt and the 19 year old got a nice little 6.6 for the ten minute cameo. It was the other selection from the Reds that continues to defy logic.
- Andrew's selection Diogo Jota once again scored while being selected, which is nice, but for the second time this season fell below a 7.0 while doing so due to some really erratic play up front. 57% passing and losing possession on nearly half of his time with the ball isn't as frustrating for Liverpool fans as long as he scores but getting a 6.8 from a scoring day isn't ever ideal.
- But rounding out the drab day in the Premier League was Trevor's top scoring selection Billy Gilmour. It didn't look good for the young Scotsman early on against Southampton before the Chelsea loanee bossed his final ten minutes on the pitch, including assisting on the match-winner to Grant Hanley, earning a 6.9 (ni.ce) in the win. Trevor is now in first place for the first time since August by 0.1 rating points.
- Optimally, for once it wasn't Mohamed Salah taking the plaudits away from Diogo Jota but rather Sadio Mane. The league's second leading scorer put his seventh of the year past Aaron Ramsdale and assisted on Salah's second half strike en route to an 8.5 rating.
