- Matchweek four of the Premier League season came to a close with three matches. Two of them saw usage but that is rather deceptive seeing how six of the seven picks came from one club in the final match of the day.
- Everybody skipped out on West Ham/Aston Villa, yet one person went with a pick from the 9AM starts. That person was Trevor who earned a 7.4 from Newcastle's Kieran Trippier. Trippier has been incredibly consistent in his first full season on Tyneside as that 7.4 rating he got in a 1-1 draw with Wolves was the third time he's had that exact rating thus far and marks an incredibly high "low bar" for one of England's first choice right backs.
- The other six picks all came from Tottenham Hotspur who won 2-0 against Nottingham Forest. Well, two of them were Last Man In assignments. Mike and Ryan got themselves a 6.7 surprise as eight minutes of stoppage time allowed Spurs' final sub Djed Spence to get on the scoreboard in the Challenge.
- Unfortunately a 6.7 (ON THE RICHTA SCAYALE) was also what Matt got from the usually reliable Heung-min Son. He was the weak link of Tottenham's front three against Forest, completing just 69% (nice%) of his passes and failing to complete his one attacking dribble before being subbed off.
- Dejan Kulusevski became the fourth-fastest man in Premier League history to reach 10 league assists. That helped Scott's pick reach a 7.0 rating, but his inability to get any shots remotely on target hindered him from expounding on that tremendous accomplishment.
- Much was made of how many shots Spurs defenders blocked against the pressuring Forest attack. While Andrew's pick Davinson Sanchez was not responsible for any of those seven blocked efforts, he did everything else and did it swimmingly. He made 10 clearances, 2 interceptions, 3 key tackles, and won 7 of 8 duels both on the ground and in the air en route to a 7.5 rating.
- But our day's top scorer, and optimal scorer for the day, was Pavli's pick Harry Kane. Our current silver medalist completed his set of Spurs' attackers with a two goal effort from the England captain. Not even a saved penalty could bring him down from his 8.4 rated perch.
