- Manchester City continued their dominance over Chelsea with a 1-0 win in the final game before FA Cup weekend in England.
- There were odd formations and substitution patterns from both managers, even factoring out injury replacements. One that wasn't out of place though was Last Man In Kalvin Phillips coming for mop up duty for City netting a four pack of backers a 6.6 rating.
- Joao Cancelo being deployed in a more advanced role had to be music to Scott's ears. That music quickly turned into nails on the chalkboard as Cancelo was left isolated frequently and subbed off at halftime on a 6.7 rating.
- That left our top two scorers, Pavli and Trevor, to tie on the day's gold medal selection with a player from each side. Cesar Azpilicueta wasn't able to keep a clean sheet and Bernardo Silva was pulled off for the game's eventual goal scorer, but each man finished on a 6.9 (ni.ce) rating for their efforts.
- Optimally, any and all participants could have taken City's John Stones who completed 98% of his passes and kept Chelsea off the board to earn a 7.6 rating from the aggregators.
