- There were no shocks from the second day of the quarterfinals for Euro 2020 as both England and Denmark disposed of their relatively weaker opposition without significant pushback.
- Expect to hear more and more "It's Coming Home" from not only English supporters, but for Mike when it comes to what will be the first Pick One Challenge crown awarded in this current iteration of the game. Mike's second straight 8.2, this time on the back of 2 assists and 82% passing from Luke Shaw, saw our resident A Seleção supporter build a 3.3 point lead over second place Scott heading into the final three matchdays of the tournament.
- Scott kept that position by picking the superior Kasper in Denmark's 2-1 win over the Czech Republic. For forwards, goals can cure all ills and despite under an hour of playing time with just one key pass, Dolberg's 42nd minute strike pushed him to a solid 7.3.
- The "inferior" Kasper in this combination was Trevor's pick of Kasper Schmeichel. Where as a goal can wipe out a bad game rating-wise for a striker, it can obviously have the inverse effect on a goalkeeper. Schmeichel let in the fifth goal of the Euros for Patrik Schick, Andrew's selection and fellow 7.3er with Dolberg, and saw his rating dip nearly half a point.
- The race to the top may be done and dusted but the struggle to not be last may come down to the Final at this rate. Greg's selection of Martin Braithwaite bested Matt's of Roman Yaremchuk by 0.4 to widen the gap between himself and the basement at 0.7 heading into the semi-finals.
