- Only Bournemouth was left without a selection from the four clubs who played on the day after Boxing Day.
- Between the Last Man In and second half substitutes, Manchester United left a quartet of participants wanting in their win over Nottingham Forest. Donny van de Beek was the second half sub for Trevor while Anthony Elanga provided Last Man In services for Matt, Mike, and Ryan. Each man netted a 6.6 rating for the match.
- Forest's lone pick of the day was a former United man, Andrew's pick Jesse Lingard. Unfortunately for our current overall silver medalist, Lingard would leave injured in the 53rd minute with just a 6.8 rating to his name.
- It wasn't all poor choices in United/Forest. Pavli had a second consecutive 7.6 rated day in the Premier League Pick One Challenge, this time from Bruno Fernandes who got most of his plaudits for his defensive work surprisingly. In the process he became the first participant to break the 300 ratings points barrier for 2022-23.
- But gaining ground with the day's top score was Scott with Chelsea's Kai Havertz. The German striker had a hand in both Blues goals against Bournemouth, scoring the first and setting up Mason Mount for the second to end on a 8.0 rating.
- Optimally, Casemiro showed zero World Cup fatigue with a 95% passing, four clearance defensive midfield clinic against Forest for a final rating of 8.6.
