- Friday Night Football had its customary one match as Newcastle United took on Wolverhampton Wanderers.
- There weren't many goals expected in this one, yet Trevor still went out on a limb and made Hee-chan Hwang the seventh player picked out for the season. Unsurprisingly, the South Korean international didn't even sniff a shot on target in 78 minutes and the only thing that saved him from dipping down from the standard 6.5 he ended on was his 97% passing against the Magpies.
- Furthering the frustration of the chase for the lead was the fact that for the third straight matchday the Last Man In outperformed his selection. Sean Longstaff netted the fantastic four (lowercase to illustrate my mental anguish) a 6.6 with eight minutes hoofing the ball into touch.
- The lead is now three full ratings points between first and second as Scott took home top score via Wolves' Jonny. The Portuguese wingback may have lost his clean sheet when Jose Sa conceded a needless penalty to Chris Wood, but he still won 10 of 12 ground duels and made five key tackles. His 7.5 tied with the aforementioned Wood for the day's optimal score as well.
