- What was originally five matches became four after the postponement of Burnley/Tottenham due to unmanageable snow conditions at Burnley's Turf Moor.
- That postponement threw Ryan's original pick Maxwel Cornet out the window and unfortunately landed him in the Last Man In pool with Greg which saw them both assigned Donny van de Beek (6.6) for the final seven minutes or so of Manchester United/Chelsea.
- The other Manchester United selectee fared better as Matt's pick Jadon Sancho scored his first Premier League goal of the season before being subbed off just over the hour mark for Cristiano Ronaldo. He finished with a 7.3 rating.
- On the other side of the pitch, Scott gave Hakim Ziyech his Pick One debut for Chelsea. The Moroccan international let loose 25% of Chelsea's total shots and helped produce both of their big chances. While his duel rate wasn't ideal for a player out on the wing (8 of 17) he still did enough to earn a 7.5 which was second best for the afternoon.
- Right behind Ziyech in the matchday Pick One rankings was Trevor's pick Emmanuel Dennis. The Watford forward finally got his goal just after the hour mark before regrettably leaving injured less than ten minutes later. Despite losing to Leicester 4-2, the Nigerian finished with a 7.4 rating.
- But completing the triumvirate of best scorers without three points to their name was Everton's Lucas Digne. Despite losing to Brentford on a 24th minute Ivan Toney penalty, Andrew's selection was the Toffees' highest rated player with a 7.6 on the back of a 79.2% duel win rate, four key tackles, and a pair of in-the-box clearances.
- Optimally, it was a player from the one team that had their shooting boots tied the tightest on the day, Leicester City. James Maddison scored the Foxes' opener, assisted on goals two and three, and had a hockey assist on number four before being substituted in the 88th minute to finish on a 9.5 rating.
