- Over half of the weekend's schedule took place on Saturday with some big results for teams at the bottom of the table.
- Crystal Palace was able to keep Manchester City at bay for over 75 minutes before finally capitulating to an Erling Haaland penalty. Neither Odsonne Edouard (6.5) nor Eberechi Eze (6.6) could help steal a point as Last Man In designations.
- After their touchdown against Man U, Liverpool got slapped back to reality with a 1-0 loss at Bournemouth. Darwin Nunez (Pavli) came off with a 6.7 shortly before Mo Salah skied his potential equalizer. Ibrahima Konate (Ryan) did concede but had enough peripheral stats (96% passing, 7 clearances) to get to a 7.1 despite a yellow card. Nunez was the second picked out player in this year's Challenge.
- Many people had high hopes for the likes of Mathias Jensen (Scott) and Brentford in a double gameweek. But Jensen came out with a 6.8 as his side lost to Everton at Goodison Park.
- City's Nathan Ake took home the top score in the end. Trevor's pick was just as useful for the Citizens going forward as he was at left back, finishing on a 7.5 in the win.
- Optimally, four of the seven participants could have taken Harry Kane who scored twice in Spurs' 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest to net an 8.5 rating.
