- There were four matches on the afternoon and understandably Norwich/Crystal Palace was the only one not to earn at least one selection.
- The last match on the fixture list was the most exciting as Leeds and Aston Villa played to a 3-3 draw. However, the only usage from this one was Matt and Greg's Last Man In assignment of Aston Villa's Calum Chambers who touched the ball twice in 10 minutes making sure the baseline 6.5 rating didn't tip in either direction.
- Manchester City had the most selections with three and all of them went into the lime green territory on Sofascore. Riyad Mahrez (Scott) scored City's first of the game from the penalty spot to earn a 7.0. This made Scott the first participant to break 500 rating points for the season. Rodri (Ryan) only lost the ball 11 times in 105 touches finishing with a 7.1. Finally, Aymeric Laporte (Trevor) had himself a clean sheet and 96% passing to lead the trio with a 7.2 rating.
- But our top score came from the only pick from a losing side on the afternoon, Andrew's selection Lucas Moura. The Spurs winger was tremendous during his time on the pitch against Southampton. His hockey assist through ball set up the opening own goal for the Saints while he did the deed for real on Tottenham's second putting it on a plate for Heung-min Son. He left the pitch with a 7.7 rating and a 2-1 lead, but regrettably it all fell apart for the hosts after that.
- Optimally you would have had to look at one of the clubs that scored three goals on the day to get the best possible score. Philippe Coutinho continued his fine form back in the Premier League with a goal and two assists for Aston Villa. James Ward-Prowse added two interceptions and three key tackles to his two helpers on the game-tying and winning goals in Southampton's comeback win. Both men were given an 8.8 rating for their exploits.
