- The early match saw a cagey showdown between Sweden and Slovakia. Neither side made substantive inroads towards a goal which didn't help the cause for Marcus Berg (Scott) and Marek Hamsik (Trevor) on opposite sides. It took a second half penalty to get the three points for the Swedes but both of the selected players were substituted before that goal came.
- Our second match of the afternoon was a bit more lively with Croatia and the Czech Republic making plenty of chances. Greg's selection of Patrik Schick made it three goals in two games with a first half penalty to earn top score honors (7.6) while on the other side Luka Modric's mastery in midfield may have only got him a "hockey assist" on Croatia's equalizer but everything else he did helped Matt substantially with a 7.2 rating.
- The UK Derby closed out proceedings on the day and let's just say there is a reason England is getting dragged in the rags this morning. Scotland made themselves tough to break down and the two attackers selected, Raheem Sterling for Mike and Harry Kane for Andrew, did little to do so. Somehow Kane has still yet to open his account in the European Championships for his otherwise illustrious career.
