- Nottingham Forest/Aston Villa, the game everybody forgot about, took place on Monday Night Football and ended in a 1-1 draw.
- Matt and Mike forgot about the contest entirely having to rely on Aston Villa's Cameron Archer as the Last Man In. For that they got the standard 6.5 from the Villa youngster in nine minutes played.
- A 6.5 was also what was in play for Scott's pick Ollie Watkins. The Villa striker had one total attempt on goal in 90 minutes against one of the league's worst defenses and didn't look dangerous in any of his runs.
- Our lone Forest selection was that of Harry Toffolo by Ryan. His history of risky defensive picks preceded him having taken Bournemouth's Chris Mepham after letting in 9 against Liverpool. Toffolo could not replicate that dark magic finishing on just a 6.6 for the match.
- No progress was made at the top of the table as both Pavli and Trevor selected 6.8 rated players. Trevor's pick John McGinn may have surpassed Pavli's of Douglas Luiz had the Irishman not received a second half yellow card for a cynical foul.
- That leaves for the first time this season a top scorer with less than a 7.0 rating. Darwin Nunez just broke the barrier the day prior but Andrew's pick Philippe Coutinho could only get to a 6.9 (ni.ce) rating in the draw.
- Optimally, Villa's goal scorer Ashley Young rolled back the years (according to commentary) for a superb equalizer against Nottingham to end on a 7.6 rating.
