- The final two matches of the weekend went off with the victors of each garnering all of the selections.
- It turns out that there were two sets of unofficial pairs between the picks as well. Granit Xhaka (Pavli) and Gabriel Martinelli (Scott) represented two-thirds of Arsenal's left side in their 4-3-3 against Nottingham Forest. A rare misstep though from our game leader saw him make the lesser of the two decisions as Xhaka earned just a 6.5 in 75 minutes while goal scorer Martinelli got a 7.4 in 63.
- Our other pair was a couple of one-named Brazilians in the middle of the pitch for Manchester United. Ryan and Trevor got a 7.1 from starter Casemiro who held down the fort ahead of Harry Maguire in defense. Matt and Mike got a 6.2 from Last Man In Fred who lost the ball 5 times in 8 touches in 11 minutes.
- That leaves Andrew to take home the day's top score with United keeper David de Gea. The first shot-stopper to earn two top scores this season had a 7.9 on the back of four big saves against West Ham including a spectacular one on a bending effort by Michail Antonio. This effort put Andrew into second place overall.
- Optimally, nobody in their right mind would have taken a punt on Arsenal substitute Reiss Nelson. However, that crazy person would have received an 8.7 rating for their lunacy as Nelson scored twice and got an assist in relief of the injured Bukayo Saka as Arsenal throttled Forest 5-0.
