- Despite it being a clash of first and second place in the table which saw second displace first at the top, most of the field on the day were quite indifferent to Manchester City's 3-1 win over Arsenal. Six of the seven participants used either the Last Man In or a second half substitute.
- Our lone starting XI backer fell into the middle of the pack score-wise. Trevor got a 6.5 from City's Riyad Mahrez who was subbed off just after the hour mark and eleven minutes before his side got the eventual winning goals.
- The substitute roster for Arsenal took up five of the day's seven selections. The second step Last Man In was Fabio Vieira (6.3) for our normal quartet while second sub Ben White (6.7) was the move for Scott.
- But taking home the top score with the Last Man In luck was Pavli via Man City's Kalvin Phillips. His 6.8 came from as "perfect" of a nine minutes you can ask from a defensive midfielder with a two goal lead.
- Optimally, either Andrew, Matt, or Ryan could have taken Kevin De Bruyne and earned an 8.3 rating from the Belgian scoring and assisting two of City's three goals against the Gunners.
