- The last day of this particular midweek set of matches saw Fulham send Aston Villa manager Steven Gerrard to the unemployment line while Leicester City may have staved off Brendan Rodgers' execution for one more week with a win over Leeds.
- Six of the day's seven picks came from the All-L showdown in the late kickoff. The only pick from Villa/Fulham was the day's worst. Lose 3-0, fail on your only attacking dribble (which led to a goal the other way), and get sent off for a "headbutt" just over an hour in. All in a day's work for Trevor's pick Douglas Luiz who ended with a 5.8 rating.
- Midweek fixtures seem to bring out Last Man In usage in droves and this day was no different. Matt, Mike, and Ryan had to utilize the provision and were left with a shrug and a 6.4 from Leicester's Kelechi Iheanacho. Oddly enough, Iheanacho's only usage last year came from LMI assignments.
- Scott was able to sift through a rough looking Leeds scoresheet to find their highest scoring attacker, Brenden Aaronson. The American had a 7.3 on the strength of drawing five fouls, making three key tackles, and two key passes in defeat.
- But our top scorer was Pick One debutante Wout Faes. After zero clean sheets before October, they now have three this month with Andrew and Pavli being the latest beneficiaries of the Belgian and his side's improved defensive record. His 7.4 was his fourth successive match over 7.0 in the league.
- Optimally, Fulham keeper Bernd Leno turned back the clock with a 8.7-rated clean sheet against the broken Villans. He made six saves, four from inside the box, and completed 92% of his passes in the win.
