- The weekend's schedule concluded with five matches. Four of them garnered at least one selection with Manchester United/Newcastle United being the only one disregarded by our participants.
- Liverpool potentially saved their top four chances with a 1-0 win over Manchester City. The only selection from the Reds was Last Man In Trent Alexander-Arnold. Originally thought to be out at least two more weeks, the right back came back as a late sub for Mohamed Salah yet couldn't complete a pass or put his one effort on net leaving Mike and Ryan with a 6.3 as a result.
- Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was the day's other double selection. Both Andrew and Matt had to be disappointed in the Chelsea striker's lack of inclusion in his side's offensive flow. He lost the ball nearly half the time he possessed it and got zero shots off to finish on a 6.4 rating which is fairly generous.
- A power cut delayed the Arsenal/Leeds match mightily with the final minutes of it nearly bleeding into the last match of the morning. Nevertheless, the Gunners were able to maintain their place at the top of the table thanks to a goal from Scott's pick Bukayo Saka who used that to offset an otherwise mediocre game to end on a 7.2 rating.
- West Ham secured a point with Southampton but probably could have won outright had Trevor's pick Gianluca Scamacca been a bit more accurate in front of net. The Italian got off seven shots against the Saints but only one was technically on target albeit tame. His 7.2 rating came from that glut of shots as well as his clearing out of several defenders to make room for Declan Rice's eventual equalizer.
- But our top scorer of the day, optimal scorer for the day, and highest scoring goalkeeper selection ever was Pavli's pick Kepa Arrizabalaga. The much-maligned Chelsea shot stopper made the most of his start against Aston Villa palming away seven shots, a personal Premier League best, making three clearances, and two punches. His 8.9 also allowed Pavli to reclaim the overall lead by nearly a full ratings point.
