- A new matchweek began with some Friday Night Football between Southampton and Norwich City.
- It was a clean sweep for the Saints in this one as no Norwich players were taken from our six participants.
- Second-half substitutes Jack Stephens (6.5) and Shane Long (6.4) were the low scorers on the afternoon for both Ryan and Greg respectively. However, Stephens was the only defender selected and that Southampton clean sheet could factor in with a tie-breaker in the endgame.
- Three people went with Southampton's opening goal scorer Che Adams. Unfortunately for Andrew, Matt, and Trevor, the forward did not provide much else to the cause in his 83 minutes of action completing just 71% of his passes and winning only two of eight ground duels en route to a 6.8 rating.
- That means that the gap at the summit of the Pick One Challenge table widened as Scott hit the optimal score bullseye once again with James Ward-Prowse. His 8.3 rating was backed by 92% passing, a clean duel record, and stellar defensive backtracking including 2 key tackles and 2 interceptions.
