- There were two matches on the final day before the World Cup break. Each one had selections from just one of the clubs involved.
- Brighton found themselves on the wrong side of a 2-1 scoreline with Aston Villa. Two of the Albion's attacking options were taken to no avail. Leandro Trossard (Andrew & Mike) and Solly March (Scott) each had standard 6.5's in the loss despite combining for one shot on target.
- It wasn't all doom and gloom in the Pick One for Brighton backed players though. Trevor's pick Moises Caicedo used 87% passing and seven key tackles to earn a 7.3 rating, even with a booking to his name.
- In the last kickoff of the day, it was all about the game changing substitution that propelled Manchester United to victory over Fulham. Pavli's pick Anthony Martial (6.0) didn't get many opportunities to score his first league goal in over a month but was incredibly wasteful with the ones he did have. The Last Man In subbed on for him in the 72nd minute, Alejandro Garnacho, got Matt a 7.0 rating with his first Premier League goal, a winner three minutes into stoppage time.
- But our top scorer of the day had nothing to do with goals. Ryan's pick Victor Lindelof earned a 7.5 with a team-high 11 clearances for the victorious Red Devils and make three tackles in his club's defensive third to ultimately help thwart Fulham's chances of a late equalizer.
- Optimally, Aston Villa's Danny Ings and Manchester United's Christian Eriksen each finished on 8.2 ratings in their respective clubs' wins. Ings scored twice against Brighton while Eriksen opened the scoring for United before assisting on the winner.
