- It was a healthy day for goals in the Premier League as every team across the four matches scored with no draws to be had. Sadly though that deluge of net bulges didn't translate to the Pick One as only our top scorer was able to hit the back of the net or directly assist a goal.
- Things spiraled further and further into the abyss for Liverpool as the match went on against Arsenal. The first ominous domino to fall in the second half was the substitution of Andrew's pick Trent Alexander-Arnold. His defensive struggles continued against the Gunners and left at the interval unable to improve his 6.2 rating.
- Across town (not literally on the day, LFC/AFC was in London) Everton couldn't find a second goal to draw level with Manchester United and fell by a score of 2-1. Last Man In Salomon Rondon was brought in to try to get that late equalizer but didn't even register a shot in 11 minutes to end on a standard 6.5 for the trio of Matt, Ryan, and Trevor.
- Marcus Rashford had a goal harshly ruled out for a glancing handball which was bad news for Pavli. Instead of finishing in the mid-7's the Manchester United forward ended on a 6.9 (ni.ce) for his 90 minutes.
- That 6.9 (ni.ce) rating was exactly what Scott got from West Ham's Pablo Fornals as well as his Hammers beat Fulham. It was the fifth time this season that last year's winner fell just short of Sofascore's lime green threshold and it is the first time in two campaigns that Fornals fell below it while being selected.
- Taking home the day's top spot was that aforementioned goal scorer, Liverpool's Darwin Nunez. It was a frustrating day for the Uruguayan with the Reds being caught offside an absurd 6 times against Arsenal. However he was able to get Mike up to a 7.0 with his 34th minute goal which at the time leveled things at the Emirates.
- Optimally, the scorer of Arsenal's second and third goals, Bukayo Saka, was the man of the hour. He scored once from open play and once from the spot after a soft penalty was given to end on an 8.1 in a 3-2 victory.
