- It was four mid-table matchups on the day with goals in every match and selections from all four.
- The early kick-off saw Leeds draw 2-2 with Brentford and Scott's selection Sergi Canos fill in the stat sheet in so many ways both good and bad. For the good, he scored a goal and recorded three key tackles from the striker position. The bad saw him get a yellow 10 minutes into the second half for time-wasting and nearly a red for arguing the call. He also only completed 55% of his passes. The Spaniard finished with a 7.1 before being subbed off midway through the second half.
- That 7.1 was just enough for Scott to reclaim the overall lead from Trevor who saw James Maddison's run of outstanding form come to an end in Leicester's loss to Aston Villa. Maddison got a bad yellow just a couple minutes from the final whistle and the normally pinpoint accurate crosser didn't get a single one to a Foxes teammate. He ended the day with a 6.8 rating.
- Ryan's pick made it 3-for-3 so far with picks with yellow cards as Norwich's primary striker picked up an early caution in their 3-0 loss to Tottenham. Fortunately for Pick One purposes, Pukki was Norwich's most active offensive player and even got the lone shot to test Hugo Lloris significantly. A 7.0 out of seemingly nothing isn't half bad.
- Last Man In Axel Tuanzebe had to go wreck the theme by not getting carded in his 11 minutes against Leicester. In fact, he only touched the ball once in those eleven minutes so Greg and Matt should be thankful for even the 6.5.
- But closing out with top score for the second consecutive day is Andrew with Manchester United's Diogo Dalot. The Portuguese fullback completed 88% of his passes from the right side including 82% of his long passes. Add keeping Crystal Palace off the scoresheet and a 7.4 was his to own.
- Optimally, you had to look to the only team that scored three goals on the day. Heung-min Son scored on one and assisted on another on his way to an 8.3 rating. That is now two matches in a row with goals and nearly an entire month across all competitions without going below a 7.0 rating.
