- Three of the four teams playing on the day saw usage. Only Leeds United went without representation.
- Aston Villa lost 3-1 to Manchester City on the day and both of their backers felt the pain as well in the Challenge. Scott saw Jacob Ramsey earn him a paltry 6.1 rating in the defeat while Matty Cash netted Ryan only a 6.6 as the second step Last Man In.
- The first step of the LMI provision wasn't any more fruitful as City's Nathan Ake provided a 6.6 for the trio of Andrew, Matt, and Mike.
- Trevor didn't see his pick take the pitch until the 61st minute, but in the end Manchester United's Lisandro Martinez was able to get his rating up to 6.9 (ni.ce) by the match's conclusion.
- But taking home the top score of the day was Pavli's pick Jack Grealish on the back of a very steady 69 (nice) minutes against Villa. He won all but one of his duels, won a penalty, had a second overturned by VAR, and drew a third foul in an advantageous attacking position. All in all that was worth a 7.3 rating from the aggregators.
- Optimally, over half the field could have selected Rodri (8.7) who scored City's opener and then reverted back to his usual defensive midfield bulldozer self.
