- It was not an offensive showcase in the opening game of the day with England besting Croatia 1-0 at Wembley. The only attacker on either side that went for above a 7.0 rating was goal scorer Raheem Sterling. Not what Scott (Harry Kane) and Matt (Andrej Kramaric) wanted to see on the scoresheet.
- Tactical chaos reigned supreme in the second game of the afternoon as Austria eventually held off pesky Euro first-timers North Macedonia. Initially put on the lineup card in advanced roles, David Alaba (Trevor) and Marcel Sabitzer (Greg) held deeper than anticipated but each were still able to record an assist. Alaba was the high scorer of the day with a 8.2 rating.
- The final match saw Netherlands work themselves into a second half track meet with Ukraine. Andrew and Mike's selection, Frenkie de Jong, didn't get on the scoresheet but he did play the full 90 minutes completing 92% of his 97 passes and winning all but two of his loose ball duels.
