- It was clearly evident from the selection pool that we didn't think that Norwich City would defeat Watford 3-0 on Friday Night Football to kick off the Premier League weekend. Not a single Norwich player was picked.
- In a match that ended 3-0 to the visitors, there shouldn't be any surprise that the two defenders taken on the day ended with 6.2 ratings. Andrew's pick Samir was brutal in his second game for Watford getting beat for both of Norwich's first two goals. Greg's Last Man In assignment Juraj Kucka finished off the scoreline with an own goal in stoppage time.
- At least neither of those gentlemen were sent off which is more than we can say for the joint selection of Emmanuel Dennis by Ryan and Matt. The usually reliable Nigerian didn't register a single shot on target against the Premier League's leakiest defense and was sent off for a second yellow card on 78 minutes ending his afternoon prematurely with a 6.3 rating.
- Josh King played the center forward role as best as he could despite not getting a shot off on target. He earned Scott a 7.4 by completing all six of his attacking dribbles, completing 85% of his passes, and creating Watford's best chance at a goal that was ultimately saved by Norwich backup Angus Gunn.
- Besting King by 0.1 rating point and dragging Trevor that one tiny tick closer to catching Scott was Joao Pedro. The young Brazilian couldn't make it three straight matches in all competitions with a goal but he did get that aforementioned big chance saved as well as winning 14 combined duels, air & ground, off the left wing.
- Optimally though you would have had to waved those stars and stripes and looked towards the green and yellow. Josh Sargent scored his first two Premier League goals, including a moment of sheer scorpion brilliance, and walked off the field to a raucous applause and a 8.5 rating.
