- The postponement of Everton/Newcastle left only Burnley/Manchester United available to choose players from.
- Burnley's sole representative in the pick pool came from Last Man In Erik Pieters who earned Greg, Matt, and Ryan a 6.5 for 10 uneventful minutes at left back where he touched the ball a total of seven times.
- There was a player from every level of the United formation taken sans goalkeeper. The defensive player chosen was Eric Bailly. Andrew's selection was at fault for Burnley's goal but was fairly competent at the back otherwise before coming off injured (what a shock) just after the hour. He finished with a 6.8 rating.
- Scott's pick Edinson Cavani flew the flag for the forwards on the afternoon and well, he played. He did not register a shot on target and touched the ball only 27 times despite attempting to be the primary flick-on player in a two striker system. Playing up front with Ronaldo does have its disadvantages and the Uruguayan ended on a 6.9 (ni.ce) rating.
- That leaves the man in the midfield as our day's top scorer, Trevor's pick Scott McTominay. He scored off a Ronaldo flick to open the day's scoring and drew five fouls over the course of 90 minutes to join a short list of multiple-time top scorers in the Premier League Pick One Challenge. His 7.4 was his third consecutive match of at least a 7.0 rating.
- Optimally, it was neither a goal scorer or assist maker that took home top honors. Don't tell CR7 that the industry of Mason Greenwood slotted right behind the strikers earned him the best possible rating of 7.8.
