- Things went drastically different for the two Merseyside teams on the day. Everton drew 2-2 with Nottingham Forest while Liverpool hit for seven against bitter rivals Manchester United.
- The Last Man In at least got to celebrate a goal for the Reds. Curtis Jones only earned our quartet of quitters a 6.6 but he got a piggyback ride from Bobby Firmino after his emotional goal against the Red Devils.
- Scott and Pavli mind-melded to both take Everton's Dwight McNeil against Forest. While he was yellow carded in the draw, he wasn't directly linked to any of the Toffees' repeated calamities in midfield to finish on a 7.1 rating.
- But taking home the top score was the facilitator of Liverpool's second goal, Harvey Elliott. The only Red to feature in every fixture for the club this year, Elliott put in a ball directly on Darwin Nunez's head to start a second half deluge never before seen in the rivalry. Trevor got a 7.8 from the youngster for his efforts.
- Optimally, if Andrew, Matt, or Mike had bothered to not let the fates decide they could have had a perfect 10 from Mohamed Salah who was involved in four of the seven goals on the day (2 assists, 2 goals).
