- Both matches on the day went the complete opposite of how most thought they would go.
- Our late kickoff was supposed to be a defensive stalemate between Wolves and Crystal Palace. Instead a first half header from Wolves' Adama Traore forced both teams to push on and take chances. Unfortunately from a Pick One standpoint none of those chances fell to Last Man In Jean-Philippe Mateta. Palace's backup striker was fairly wasteful in killing the name completing just one pass and netting the trio of Matt, Mike, and Ryan just a 6.4 rating.
- Conversely, the early contest pitting Brighton against Nottingham Forest at the AMEX Stadium on the south coast was supposed to be a back and forth affair. Instead only Brighton had their shooting boots on but no accuracy in them.
- Two-time top scorer Alexis Mac Allister had a frustrating day as Scott's selection. The Brighton midfielder completed a hefty 91% of his 81 passes including 5 of 8 on long balls. But he also took a needless yellow late in the match and uncharacteristically didn't register a single shot on target to finish on a 6.8 in 90 minutes.
- Pavli had slightly better luck with Moises Caicedo. The Ecuadorian international also had a caution to his name with similar passing accuracy (87%) and a 5/8 long balls record. However, the timing of his two key tackles to thwart two rare Forest counters allowed him that slight boost to a 7.2 final rating.
- One of our top scorers was the direct recipient of a clean sheet while the other fell to this plane on the back of bricking a couple easy chances. Brighton captain Lewis Dunk delivered a 7.3 for Andrew on the back of superb buildup passing from the back and two big clearances. Trevor's pick Pascal Groß should have been in the 8.0 or higher range but instead "slipped" down several pegs after two big misses including a 68th minute effort that has probably harder to not put in the back of the net.
- Optimally, Nottingham Forest keeper Dean Henderson had his best outing in the Forest shirt bar none. He made seven saves, including six from close range, doing everything in his power to keep the Seagulls off the board. His 9.2 rating for the afternoon is a personal best.
