- This was bound to be a less prolific day than the one prior, but the final matchday before a two week international break still produced some shakeups in the Pick One standings.
- Only two participants had to utilize the services of the Last Man In this week with Matt and Greg getting Wolverhampton's Morgan Gibbs-White for a contemptuous final ten minutes against Manchester United.
- One of the people that the Wolves' youngster scuffled with as the game circled towards its close was Trevor's pick of Paul Pogba. Despite 86% pass accuracy, including 68% on long balls, Pogba blanked on the formal scoresheet for the first time this season and that late yellow card brought him down to a 7.1 rating.
- In one of the two earlier matches, Spurs vs Watford, new highs and lows were met.
- Andrew had "revenge game" thoughts on his mind for Moussa Sissoko as the fresh summer transfer faced his old club. Instead he was subbed off mercifully to avoid a hauntingly impending sending off after being generally poor in a loss. His 6.2 rating is the lowest so far in the Challenge.
- On the flip side, both first and second place heading into the day went with Tottenham forwards and it was Scott who ended up making the better selection. Heung-min Son (7.8) scored a goal to outshine Harry Kane's full return to the starting XI (7.0) which allowed Scott to pass Ryan by one-tenth of a point into first place.
- If only they looked a little further back into Spurs' midfield, they would have found the optimal pick of the day: Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg. The Danish international had a remarkable 111 touches on the afternoon and won every duel he was registered as participating in on his way to a 8.2 rating.
