- For a second straight day, COVID protocols forced a fixture to be postponed leaving three matches on the schedule. All three had at least one player selected from one of the sides.
- A pair of 20 year olds were chosed for West Ham/Arsenal. Bukayo Saka was Matt's selection and followed a recent pattern of making you believe he could put up the worst score of the season before playing out of his mind for the final ten minutes, getting a goal or an assist, and somehow salvaging a 6.8. The other was Greg's Last Man In Harrison Ashby. He only played 12 minutes and touched the ball just 10 times so his blurb is a bit less involved.
- A former Last Man In, Daniel Podence, was Ryan's pick against Brighton. The Wolves forward was the highest rated attacker for his side by a wide margin on the back of 2 shots on target, 2 interceptions, and 88% passing from the number 9 role. He finished the 1-0 win with a 7.3.
- After his two goal game against Everton, Conor Gallagher was a popular man in the Pick One garnering selections from both Andrew and Trevor. However, the dessert was nowhere as good as the main course as Gallagher struggled mightily against Southampton with 68% passing and zero shot attempts. His defensive work and the fact that the Eagles were able to snare a draw in the match kept him at a respectable yet still disappointing 6.9 (ni.ce).
- But pushing himself further forward in the table with the day's top score was Scott with the other Palace selection of the day, Wilfried Zaha. The Ivorian scored just inside two minutes into the match and created another big chance a bit later on to earn a 7.4 rating. This is Scott's third top score on the trot and fourth in five matchdays.
- The day's optimal scorer was Wolves' lone goal getter, Roman Saiss. Boosted by his defender status, Saiss kept himself onside after a corner was poorly cleared to catch a Ruben Neves lob perfectly and score. Add that to a clean sheet, nine clearances, and five interceptions and you have yourself an 8.2 rating.
