- There were seven matches to choose from with all of them having goals in them.
- Two left backs were taken from the mid-day kickoffs and despite them ending up with the same rating (6.9) they had vastly different afternoons. Trevor's pick Joao Cancelo was probably Manchester City's most dependable defender on a day where they had a man sent off and eventually lost to Crystal Palace. Ryan's selection Ben Chilwell was able to keep a clean sheet but it was his wingback counterpart on the other side of Chelsea's formation that was a player that will be mentioned in a blurb to come.
- The remaining four picks of the day came from Manchester United's win over Spurs. We'll start with the trio of Tottenham selections because there isn't much that needs to be said. They were poor in every facet of the game leaking three goals and getting zero shots on target on the other end. Harry Kane (Matt) continued his woeful EPL Pick One campaign with another day of no goals and a 6.6 and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (Andrew/Greg) was wasteful in the midfield with nearly 20% of his touches ending up back at the feet of United players en route to a 6.3.
- Top score of the day went to the man who inflicted the majority of the pain upon Nuno Espirito Santo's men, Cristiano Ronaldo. Scott vaulted back into the lead with an 8.4 from CR7 who very well could have a hat trick on the afternoon but in the end had a goal and an assist with a perfect dribbling record as Man U got back into the European places.
- Optimally, Reece James had himself one hell of day opposite Chilwell in Chelsea's 3-0 win over Newcastle. Every weapon in his arsenal (no London-y pun intended) was on display with two goals, a clean sheet, and 95% passing for the England right back.
