- There were only two matches on to end the matchweek yet only one of them saw usage. Maybe we shouldn't have neglected Manchester City/Everton as it had the two top scorers of the day. More on that in a bit.
- Leeds find themselves on the brink of the relegation zone after a 2-1 defeat to Tottenham. In terms of the Pick One, the only significant figure was yet another Scottish teenager, this time Stuart McKinstry (6.5), earning Last Man In honors for a trio of competitors.
- Antonio Conte's second league match in charge of Spurs went better than the first but it was not the defensive masterclass Conte teams are accustomed to running. With that being said, Andrew's pick Ben Davies (6.4) struggled in a left center back role with none of his seventeen completed passes going more than ten yards and being partially at fault for Leeds' opening goal.
- Trevor's pick Heung-min Son is now at four straight Premier League matches without a goal or assist, but ended on a 7.1 with three successful dribbles and 89% passing.
- That leaves top score to Ryan with Lucas Moura. The Brazilian assisted on the first Spurs goal and despite some less than stellar passing stats otherwise was a force getting back in defense to help fullback Emerson Royal get forward on the right side. He left the field after 88 minutes with a 7.6 rating.
- Optimally, as was stated before, you would have needed a Citizen to get the best possible score. Rodri was that man with a goal, 94% passing, and a perfect aerial duels record (3/3) earning an 8.2 for the match.
