- There were only two matches to choose from. Both saw usage with only one team (Newcastle United) being completely left out.
- The late match was the single participant affair with Matt going with Lucas Moura against Newcastle. The game itself was shaky for more reasons than one but it should be commended that with so much back and forth that Lucas was still able to register the same rating (6.9) as Heung-min Son, one of the club's three goal scorers.
- In the early contest, West Ham United were able to pass Everton in the table with a 1-0 victory on the road.
- Despite being the only player so far to register top score twice in the Pick One, it was a rough day for Michail Antonio (Greg) up front for the Hammers. He was woefully wasteful with the few chances he made for himself and was booked for diving in the ninth minute. It could have been much worse than a 6.4.
- The other Hammer taken fared much better and contributed to the match's lone goal. Jarrod Bowen (Trevor) saw his precise corner kick headed in near post by Angelo Ogbonna to put his side ahead for good. Pair that with two more key passes that led to "big" chances and tireless defensive work and a 7.2 felt well-earned.
- Even with the loss, the three Everton selections got along well enough, some enough for top score. Allan (Andrew) was the low man on the totem pole with a 6.9 as his shoddy passing accuracy kept him behind midfield mate Abdoulaye Doucoure (Ryan) who finished with a 7.1. Taking home top score though was our leader Scott through Demarai Gray. The usual winger sat right behind the toothless Salomon Rondon and did his best to make up for the Venezuelan's deficiencies but unfortunately there were no goals in the end for the Toffees. But for Scott a 7.4 will only help to widen his lead.
- Optimally, Spurs' Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg would have been the day's best selection. He assisted on Tottenham's second goal and completed an obscene 96% of his 103 passes on the afternoon as his side took home a valuable three points and he accrued an 8.3 rating.
