- Two matches completed the hectic weekend in the Premier League. Each of the four teams involved saw at least one selection.
- The late match saw Manchester United hand Arsenal their first loss of the season, 3-1 at Old Trafford. Despite that the Gunners garnered the most attention from Pick One backers including both of the top two participants.
- Gabriel Martinelli had a sensational breakaway goal ruled out by VAR after a foul was found in the buildup on Martin Odegaard. Pavli and Trevor each put their chips in on the Brazilian winger who didn't do much else to end on a 6.6 rating. Ryan had his stake in Odegaard who was equally ineffective against a resurgent United to see his 73 minute outing culminate in a 6.4 rating.
- For the home side, Mike bucked conventional wisdom again by going with somebody in the rear guard for United against a high-powered offense. He was once again rewarded for his confidence with a 7.0 for Raphael Varane.
- In the early match, Leicester lost their fifth league match on the trot in embarrassing fashion to Brighton by a score of 5-2. Matt was the lone Foxes supporter with Harvey Barnes. It was probably fortuitous that Barnes was subbed off at halftime to save himself from dropping below his 6.3 rating and joining three of his other teammates in the Sofascore "red".
- If Scott was going to break his run of 7's, it is a good thing that number went up rather than down. Pascal Groß had a delicious assist on Leandro Trossard's goal and could have had a goal if not for a big block by Leicester's defense. He finished on a 7.9, the third time in six games he's been above a 7.8 score.
- But our top scorer of the day was the biggest what-if from the proceedings. Andrew's pick Alexis Mac Allister had a worldie ruled out for a crap offside judgement and another effort valiantly blocked similarly to Groß's. However, he still put home two goals, including one penalty, to take home a 8.3 rating and three points which put the Seagulls in fourth place in the Premier League.
- Optimally, Marcus Rashford was involved in all of United's three goals against Arsenal. He assisted on Antony's first strike for the club in the first half before scoring twice within 10 minutes of one another in the second to earn a 8.8. It should be noted that he was subbed off in the 80th minute with an injury and the severity is not yet known.
