- There were only two matches on the fixture list for the morning with only two of the participating teams seeing usage.
- Norwich City is currently the only club in the Premier League Pick One to not have had multiple players selected during the Challenge thus far. They did not lose that distinction on this day.
- Their opponent, Leeds United, split the selection pool with West Ham and produced two of the day's three top scorers.
- Jamie Shackleton was the second wide right man in an unconventional 3-3-3-1 from Marcelo Bielsa as the visitors attempted to heap pressure on the hapless Canaries. He was dynamic in the role but unfortunately he found himself injured in the 71st minute just shortly after receiving a yellow card so he was unable to build on his impressive 7.0 over the final 20 minutes and we may not see him again for a while.
- Both West Ham selections, Said Benrahma (Matt/Scott) and Manuel Lanzini (Greg), got assists on the day with the latter being substituted on in the second half for the former. However, a yellow card for Benrahma paired with some uncharacteristically sloppy defensive work allowed the substitute to outscore the starter rating wise with a 7.1 to a 6.6.
- Now tracking back to Leeds, this game showed how getting a goal isn't always the route to a big rating day. Both Rodrigo (Andrew) and Raphinha (Ryan) scored in Leeds' victory. Rodrigo had the better passing percentages. However, the striker was out of place sitting behind the lone striker and a petulant first half yellow card mixed with what could be described as minimal tracking back is what saw him get a 6.6 and the Brazilian come away with the day's top score of 8.0.
- Optimally, the day's best selection would have been West Ham's Declan Rice. Always a box-to-box locomotive in the Hammers' midfield, Rice was able to snag both a goal and an assist as well in their 4-1 win over Aston Villa on his way to an impressive 8.7 rating.
