- The league continues to see the title chasers continue to one-up another while the relegation battle has engulfed nearly the entirety of the bottom half of the table.
- Aston Villa put Chelsea in that bottom half with a 2-0 win. Last Man In Leander Dendoncker (6.5) didn't register a single stat in his nine minutes, but I'm sure he didn't give a shit about that while celebrating with his Villa teammates.
- It was significantly less celebratory in the early kickoff of the day for Liverpool. Pavli's pick Cody Gakpo could not find any rebuttal for Manchester City's second-half revival coming off in the 82nd minute with a 6.6 rating.
- Fulham felt the real effects of their red card bonanza in the FA Cup as Trevor's pick Carlos Vinicius (6.7) found service in short supply as his side fell to Bournemouth 2-1.
- But taking home the day's top score with the only organic selection from a winning team was Scott's pick Eberechi Eze. His rocket of a shot forced Leicester keeper Daniel Iversen to inadvertently put it into his own net. Only a late yellow to basically allow a long-waiting sub to get on kept him out of the 8+ range, finishing on a 7.8.
- Optimally, Kevin De Bruyne was responsible for two-thirds of City's offense in the second half scoring his team's second just after the break and setting up Jack Grealish for the nail in Liverpool's coffin. Had Andrew, Matt, or Ryan been bothered any of the three could have had a 9.1 on their scoresheet.
