- Four of the seven matches of the day saw usage with the day's early main events, Chelsea/Manchester City and Manchester United/Aston Villa, seeing no picks taken.
- Everton/Norwich was the first match to get dug into, yet neither selection really stood out. Andrew's pick of Ben Godfrey was able to register a clean sheet against a toothless Canaries sides, but lost possession 14 times from his right back spot which wasn't ideal and ended in a 6.8 rating. Trevor probably wished for such a lack of production from Salomon Rondon who won under 25% of his duels and didn't even register one shot at the tip of Rafa Benitez's 4-4-1-1 spear en route to an abysmal 6.6.
- Ismaila Sarr got a goal for Ryan to keep him solidly in first place as Watford drew with Newcastle. His 7.2 put him half a point clear at the top.
- Jamie Vardy could have had the second Pick One hat trick of the season for Scott, but unfortunately one of those goals went into the back of the Leicester net. Regardless, England's center forward du jour scored twice for Leicester in their draw with Burnley and netted himself top score (8.1) of the day.
- In the slate's final contest, Liverpool and Brentford played to a 3-3 track meet draw. Ivan Toney (Matt) assisted on the first goal for the Bees before the scorer, Ethan Pinnock , left injured. Curtis Jones (Greg) scored an absolute belter for the Reds to give them hope of a victory momentarily. Each man ended with a 7.5+ rating, which brought them closer to contention after being incredibly far behind going into Matchweek 3.
