- With the postponement of the North London Derby, we were left with just two matches to choose from on the day. Three of the four clubs involved had players selected. That one club left out was Brentford, the only one to be shut out on the pitch as well.
- Leeds and West Ham played a 3-2 thriller that literally came down to the last second when multiple-time top scorer Jarrod Bowen chose to chest the ball instead of heading it giving Leeds the three points. The only player selected from the winning side was Andrew's pick Stuart Dallas who was a very busy man at right back. He had four clearances, a blocked shot, and three interceptions finishing the contest with a 7.1 rating.
- It was a case of the ancillary statistics boosting one and bringing down another with the pair of West Ham selections. Manuel Lanzini (Ryan) finished on a 7.3 in contrast to Michail Antonio (Trevor) and his 6.4. Antonio had an assist in this one but was woeful in possession and passing, also picking up a yellow, while his Argentinian teammate was stellar (91% passing, 9/12 duels won) in both regards and didn't get booked.
- The side with the most support was unsurprisingly Liverpool, the most-used club in the Pick One.
- It was cool to see an academy product get some late run, but Kaide Gordon didn't do much of anything as Greg's Last Man In ending his debut with a 6.0 rating.
- Matt's pick Roberto Firmino played a Bobby Firmino Special with a couple wasteful shots but in the end setting up Takumi Minamino's game-sealer with a cheeky drop-off after a poor patch of passing at the back from the Bees. His 7.2 is his highest rating in a selected game thus far.
- But our top scorer in the end was as it has been so many times, Scott. This time it was Jordan Henderson earning the honors with a 7.4 on the back of 102 touches, 2 interceptions, and 2 key tackles in full midfield captain mode.
- Optimally, Jack Harrison helped increase the buffer between Leeds and the drop zone with a hat trick against the Hammers which saw him earn a 9.1, his highest rating in league and play and his second highest rating EVER (10.0 in the League Cup against Crewe Alexandra).
