- The day began with Liverpool against Burnley at Anfield. Mohamed Salah was backed by both Scott and Ryan, the third time so far the duo picked the same player. The Egyptian had a goal ruled out for a razor thin offsides call but was otherwise fantastic in the victory completing 86% of his passes and completing half of his long dribbles to end up with a 7.2 rating.
- The second round of kickoffs had Jack Grealish and Dominic Calvert-Lewin each score for the respective selectors Matt and Trevor. Grealish's goal came as the second in a five goal thumping of Norwich City and that paired with a 95% pass completion percentage earned him top score with 7.7. DCL's goal ended up only helping Everton to a draw, but it did help open Trevor's goal account for the campaign.
- The final match of the day saw Sarr versus a sub. Andrew's pick of Ismaila Sarr was one of many invisible Watford attackers on the afternoon providing nearly no service (one cross completed) to striker Emmanuel Dennis as the Hornets were shut out. "Last Man In" Greg got a 6.5 from Brighton's Jakub Moder who didn't complete a pass or register a shot in 10 minutes.
- Trent Alexander-Arnold would have been the optimal pick for the day with an 8.6 rating for an assist and a clean sheet against Burnley.
