- It was just one match on Friday Night Football as Leeds United traveled to Newcastle United.
- There was as much back and forth as you could ask for with a 1-1 draw which meant that there were very few low ratings to go around.
- On the Leeds side, Andrew's pick, Patrick Bamford, helped get the visitors out in front by setting up Raphinha for the opening goal inside of 15 minutes. Bamford only misplaced three passes on the afternoon on an island in Marcelo Bielsa's 4-1-4-1 landing him a 7.3.
- Greg's pick, Rodrigo, is a striker by trade but sat just behind Bamford on the afternoon granting him more defensive responsibilities than he is accustomed to. However, he flourished in the role and only a second half yellow card dampened his rating down to a 7.0.
- For the hosts, Allan Saint-Maximin was the safest and in turn the most popular pick with three participants putting their stock in the French forward. Matt, Trevor, and Scott were rewarded with a goal and top score of the day with a 7.5. Emil Krafth was Ryan's Last Man In assignee.
- With all the offense on display and only two goals to show for it, it should come as little surprise that the two top rated players on the afternoon were the match's goalkeepers. Newcastle's Karl Darlow made nine saves, including three from inside the box, to produce what would have been the optimal score of 8.3.
