- It was a contentious affair at Anfield as Liverpool dropped two more points and lost their star striker for upcoming matches in a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace.
- Darwin Nunez, selected by Andrew, Ryan, and Scott, saw his second regular season game as a Red come to an untimely end when he saw red in the 57th minute. His "headbutt" on Palace's Joachim Andersen saw the Uruguayan sent off from the match and also sent to the bottom of the Pick One record books with a record-low 5.4 rating.
- Crystal Palace's only selection came as on a Last Man In designation. Matt found himself with 88th minute substitute Michael Olise. On most days a 6.2 would put you at the bottom of the barrel but with Nunez's calamitous afternoon it put him nearly a full ratings point clear of the daily basement.
- While his day wasn't nearly as bad as Nunez's, Mohamed Salah's performance against Palace was similarly wasteful. Pavli's pick had two golden opportunities go begging in the first half and was caught offsides twice in the second 45 to finish on a 6.9 (ni.ce) rating.
- But two participants went with the final prong in Liverpool's attacking trident, and the day's top and optimal scorer, Luis Diaz. Mike and Trevor selected the Colombian goal scorer who got that goal with a tremendous solo effort weaving through the Eagles' defense before lasering home into the far post. His 8.1 rating for the afternoon tied for his highest in a Liverpool shirt.
