- Two blanks and two Last Man In plays came from Aston Villa/Tottenham. Ryan and Greg were saddled with zeroes while Andrew and Matt found themselves with Ashley Young (6.5) whose one blip on the scoresheet was a 82nd minute yellow card.
- But at least the streak of Trevor being outscored by the Last Man In ended as Spurs wingback Emerson Royal put up a 6.8 rated performance in a 4-0 win. He didn't contribute to any of the four goals and himself was yellow carded eight minutes prior to Young.
- That of course means the gap widens further with Scott taking home his sixth straight top score with Chelsea's Mateo Kovacic against Southampton. When your team scores six times and you have no direct involvement in any of them, you know you had to have been immaculate elsewhere to earn an 8.1. The Croatian was just that racking up 124 touches, 90% passing, and seven tackles.
- Optimally, Trevor could have gained a little of that ground back had he gone with Kovacic's teammate Mason Mount. He scored twice, assisted a third, and made four tackles himself en route to a 9.6 rating in 69 (nice) minutes.
