- Both of the matches ended in 2-0 scorelines with Brighton & Hove Albion the only club left without a selection from the field.
- Speaking of no selection, Greg had to take his fourth blank of the season after being ineligible for either stage of the Last Man In provision.
- While he played very little after his late substitution, Curtis Jones lost the ball two of the three times he came into possession with it to give a Ryan a 6.0 rating with the Last Man In.
- It was a match of what-ifs for Scott's pick Dejan Kulusevski. If Cristian Romero didn't get in the way of his shot, would it still have gone in? What if Harry Kane had played the Swede through wide open on net late in the second half? Instead, we have unanswered queries and a 6.8 rating.
- Not much went right up front for the Gunners against Liverpool, but the defensive midfield pairing held fairly strong which led to Matt's selection Thomas Partey hanging on to a 6.9 (ni.ce) rating despite leaking two goals.
- Andrew went with the day's lone defender in Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk. The Dutch international completed 91% of his passes, made three clearances, and kept a clean sheet to take home a 7.2 rating.
- But top score of the day went to the man that sat right in front of VVD for the Reds, Trevor's selection Thiago Alcantara. His 7.4 was actually 0.5 rating points lower than his last selection back in September, but the Spaniard on this day assisted on Liverpool's opener and completed all four of his long passes before being subbed off late on for Jones.
- Optimally, every person outside of the top two in the table could have had Andy Robertson. The Liverpool left back got his tenth assist of the season on the match sealer from Roberto Firmino and with that aforementioned clean sheet registered a 8.2 in his 90 minutes.
