- We'll see how long it lasts because last time it lasted one whole day, but nevertheless we have a new leader in the Pick One table.
- Our resident pair of Last Man In recipients, Ryan and Greg, found themselves with a standard 6.5 from Steven Bergwijn after the Spurs winger's 8 minute appearance in their loss to Manchester United.
- Scott would have taken that standard after sitting through Bryan Mbeumo's performance in Brentford's win over Burnley. The Frenchman ended up with a 6.4 stranded on the right of their formation. He provided no service to Ivan Toney and frequently found himself trying to make something out of nothing, completing just 68% of his passes.
- That less than ideal outing from Mbeumo allowed Trevor to take the overall lead via Burnley's Josh Brownhill. Sitting right in front of Burnley's highest rated player of the day James Tarkowski, the majority of Brownhill's 7.0 rating came from defensive work making two clearances, two interceptions, two key tackles, and blocking what probably should have been another Bees goal.
- The second Juventus to Spurs transfer to be selected in the Pick One, Rodrigo Bentancur, earned Matt the day's silver medal. The Uruguayan international completed 92% of his passes, including three key ones, and made four key tackles en route to a 7.1 rating.
- But our day's top scorer, and one everybody is glad to see back healthy and in fine form, was Andrew's pick Christian Eriksen. Eriksen finally unlocked Burnley's stout defense in the 85th minute playing Ivan Toney for Brentford's first goal. He went 90 minutes for the second consecutive match and earned a 7.3 rating.
- Optimally, two-thirds of the field could have went with Cristiano Ronaldo who had a hat trick to pull Man U over Spurs and finished with a 9.7 rating, his highest rating in any competition since returning to the club.
