- Although it was a European night, three matches that were postponed during England's COVID boom were re-scheduled for this day. Two of them saw usage with Crystal Palace/Watford being the lone Pick One orphan.
- While five of the day's six selections came from Liverpool, one came from Tottenham Hotspur, the side that helped the Reds have a firmer grasp on their own fate in the title race. Regrettably for Matt, Spurs' encore to their win over Manchester City was a 1-0 loss to Burnley and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg couldn't do much with his 99 touches to improve on his 6.7 final rating.
- However, Trevor somehow sniped the one man in Liverpool's starting XI to score below a 7.2 in their 6-0 thrashing of Leeds United. Fabinho had scored goals in three of his last four league games and hadn't registered below a 7.2 in the league since January 2nd. Alas, his 6.6 rating in this one came from excessive fouling and two separate spells of 5+ minutes without touching the ball.
- Playing only ten percent of the Brazilian's minutes was Last Man In Divock Origi. He got one shot on target in those nine minutes and completed his only pass which acted as a hockey assist for Sadio Mane's second goal of the afternoon. He earned Greg and Ryan a 6.7 for his cameo.
- That leaves our joint top scorers as Andrew and Scott with Luis Diaz. Although the Colombian somehow did not find his way onto the scoresheet proper, he was stellar against Leeds completing 91% of his passes, 6 of 8 dribbles, and winning 10 of 16 combined duels through the air and ground. His 7.6 rating follows up a 7.8 in which he scored his first goal for the club.
- Optimally, with Sadio Mane (9.1) and Mohamed Salah (8.8) both picked out for Liverpool, the best possible score came from a man in that aforementioned neglected contest. Wilfried Zaha scored two late goals for Crystal Palace to seal the three points for the Eagles against Watford earning himself an 8.8 rating in the process.
