- The final two matches of the midweek matchweek saw only Brentford unused from the four clubs involved.
- Manchester United and Arsenal was a five goal thriller of a match that had everything a casual or neutral fan could have asked for. You wouldn't have gotten that vibe though from the scores the four players selected from that match put up.
- Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang got Matt four shots on target but it was the one that wasn't which was his biggest missed opportunity with acres of space to operate. He ended up being substituted late on and finished with a 6.8.
- The other Gunner chosen was Trevor's pick Nuno Tavares. It was the fullback's Pick One debut and while letting in three goals is never ideal he did well with crosses (2/4) and long ball accuracy (3/4) to keep him out of the "orange zone" on Sofascore and finish with a 6.7.
- Andrew's pick Jadon Sancho wasn't as lucky for United as he had zero shots, zero chances created, and was dribbled past in the build-up to both of Arsenal's goals. He finished with a 6.4 which was further illustrated by LMI Anthony Martial's 6.6, who played eight minutes, as to just how poor his play was.
- Tottenham were certainly the team of the day for Pick One picking as only Ben Davies fell below a 7.0 among starters with a 6.9. Lucas Moura represented that floor for those in the green and that was Scott's selection pulling him only 0.2 rating points away from reclaiming the Pick One lead.
- Top score however went to the other selected Spur on the day, Ryan's selection Heung-min Son. The South Korean sensation scored Spurs' only goal scored by their own feet and won just as many ground duels as front man Harry Kane en route to a 7.7 rating. It was the best score from Spurs/Brentford.
- Nevertheless, the top score of the day went to Cristiano Ronaldo. After a fairly pedestrian first half where CR7 conceded a lot of the ball to countryman Bruno Fernandes, Ronaldo did Ronaldo things in the second 45 minutes scoring from free play as well as a penalty to push Man U ahead for good and end with an 8.4 rating.
