- All five matches had at least one selection with no overlap in clubs.
- The turmoil at the top of the table continued as Scott fell from first to third after Bernardo Silva's 6.8 against Wolves. This match was a complete mess after the 40 minute mark. The Portuguese midfielder's main contribution was a cross that was handled in the box which led to a penalty and the match's only goal.
- Chelsea were able to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat against Leeds but none of that magic came from Matt's pick Kai Havertz. The lowest rated Chelsea player with a 6.3 produced one soft shot on target and never won an aerial duel inside Leeds' six yard box.
- Liverpool's Andy Robertson tortured Aston Villa's right side all morning but was incredibly hesitant to shoot rather than pass which could have very much boosted his rating. In the end, Trevor will be plenty happy with a clean sheet and a near 50% cross completion percentage en route to a 7.9 rating.
- The day's final match saw Manchester United need a second half penalty from Cristiano Ronaldo to secure three points against Last Man In Pierre Lees-Melou and Norwich but this one was more about Andrew's pick David de Gea. A man in a never-ending search for consistency put in his best shift of the campaign with five saves all on shots within his own box. His second consecutive clean sheet and an 8.2 may mean brighter days are ahead for him as we head towards some dreary English weather.
- The day's top score was recorded by the man who reclaimed first place, Ryan. Martin Odegaard showed many of the attributes that had some dubbing him the Norwegian Messi during his teen years against Southampton. A goal, several spectacular passes, and a tireless work rate earned him an 8.3 in Arsenal's convincing victory.
- Optimally, you would have had to look to the opposite end of Odegaard's work space to find your best scorer. Aaron Ramsdale made six saves, including two from point blank range, against the Saints and kept that almighty clean sheet finishing with an 8.9 rating.
