- Four of the five matches on the fixture list for the day saw usage with only Crystal Palace/Wolves receiving no love.
- Chelsea didn't quite get the result they wanted against Burnley, but are still top of the table due to continually stellar play from Scott's pick, Reece James. It was the wing back's third straight match with at least a goal or an assist as he set up Kai Havertz's opener just after the half hour mark. He could easily have had top score of the day had he not been foolishly booked late on in the second half for arguing with the referee but a 7.8 pushes Scott within a fraction of first.
- He's still behind Ryan whose pick Mason Mount didn't come on until the 85th minute but still found a way to earn a 6.9 with the added time on pushing his playing time to 10 minutes.
- While Chelsea's draw stung, the Bees of Brentford were sans-stingers against last place Norwich City. That was bad news for Andrew who saw his pick in the center of Brentford's back five, Christian Norgaard, get cut to pieces for 90 minutes. He was dribbled by five times including the first goal and on the through ball that was eventually cut down by a teammate for a penalty. The new low bar for this Challenge is Norgaard's 5.7.
- Not faring much better in the scoring department was the pair of Seagulls who came off the board against Newcastle United. Neither Solly March (Matt) with a 6.6 nor Adam Webster with a 6.5 (Greg) did anything of note in the 1-1 draw.
- And we end where the day began as Manchester bled sky blue in the early match as City dominated United with Trevor's selection, Kevin De Bruyne, directing traffic in the midfield. Including the Euros, KDB has never scored below a 7.0 in a Pick One Challenge and this derby was no different as he completed 91% of his 95 passes and only lost the ball 13 times in 113 touches to earn the top score of 7.9 in the 2-0 victory.
- Optimally, we stay with the Citizens as Joao Cancelo was the best of the bunch across the five fixtures. Even a yellow card couldn't dim the lights from an assist, beautiful work going forward and retreating, and ultimately a clean sheet and an 8.6 rating.
