- Monday Night Football threw us a bit of a curveball. Mixed sport metaphors aside, very few saw bottom-of-the- table Leicester City going out and throttling now-bottom-of-the-table Nottingham Forest 4-0 at the King Power Stadium.
- Former United player Jesse Lingard never got on track for Mike as Forest was down 3-0 just over the half hour mark. He was subbed off 69 (nice) minutes in five minutes after a needless yellow card put him on a final rating of 6.2.
- Three participants backed Forest's Brennan Johnson to break through against the league's least effective goalkeeper Danny Ward. Instead Leicester kept their first clean sheet of the league campaign and kept Andrew, Matt, and Trevor's selection on a meager 6.6 for the afternoon.
- Disappointment wasn't only for Nottingham selections though. One spot in the formation away from the optimal scorer was Pavli and Scott's pick Youri Tielemans. The Belgian midfielder had his lowest rated game since August with an uncharacteristically bad duel record (0% across the board) leaving him on a 6.7 before being subbed off in the 80th minute.
- But the shining light of both the match and the selection pool was Ryan's pick James Maddison. For the second straight day we had a player eclipse the 9.0 rating mark with the Foxes midfielder. He scored twice and assisted on a third before being substituted to raucous applause on the optimal score of 9.4.
