- Three of the four matches on the schedule for the day saw usage. Only Nottingham Forest versus Wolves went without a selection.
- Surprisingly Fulham was the team that secured the most selections with three. Even though they were facing a Bournemouth team that hasn't lost since their 9-0 drubbing against Liverpool, the Cottagers drew interest from all three levels of the pitch, one defender, one holding midfielder, and one attacking midfielder.
- Matt's pick Neeskens Kebano was the holding midfielder. The Pick One debutante completed 83% of his passes, including both long balls, and lost possession just three times. The fact that he had just 25 touches in 62 minutes though diminished his earning potential and landed him ultimately on a 6.8 rating.
- American Tim Ream was the defender netting Andrew a 6.9 (ni.ce) rating. His two key tackles, one which was as the last defender, and two clearances kept him in a decent range despite the final whistle sounding at 2-2.
- Our final Cottager was Scott's pick Andreas Pereira. Despite being a widely-used FPL asset, the Brazilian finally made his Pick One debut with an assist from a corner on Issa Diop's header to earn a 7.1 rating.
- Spurs were able to break down one of the league's staunchest defenses for a 2-0 win against Everton. But to show how the rating system takes everything a player does into account once again, one of the game's goal scorer's Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (Pavli) finished on a 7.2 while one that didn't factor into either strike, Heung-min Son (Ryan), finished on a 7.3.
- It could have been much worse for the Toffees had it not been for several last-ditch tackles from Trevor's pick James Tarkowski. The highest-rated Everton player in defeat had seven clearances, five blocked shots, and three dangerous position tackles to finish with a 7.7 even with two goals hitting the back of his club's net.
- But for the second straight day we had a two-time top scorer. This time it was Mike's pick James Maddison taking it home with a 7.8 in Leicester City's 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace. His late yellow card for diving means he won't be able to go for a third top score in mid-week, but his efforts up until that (2 key passes, 3 shots, 10/12 ground duel record) were good enough to bring Mike back to the pack in the standings.
- Optimally, Crystal Palace goalkeeper Vicente Guaita got himself an 8.7 rating with a hell of an effort to keep Maddison and the Foxes off the board. He made six saves, five from inside the box, three punches, and two high claims from set pieces to pace the possibilities for the day.
