- There were two matches to choose from, each having one team neglected by our participants.
- We led off the morning with Arsenal/Watford which eventually morphed into a tense encounter between a side striving for Europe and another trying to avoid the drop.
- Scott led things off with a solid 7.3 rating from Thomas Partey. The bruising midfielder completed 88% of his 78 passes from his holding position also adding two pass interceptions and two key tackles.
- Gabriel Martinelli was the other Gunner selected, on this occasion by Matt. The young Brazilian scored Arsenal's third goal seven minutes after the re-start and finished with a 7.4 rating before being substituted in the 73rd minute.
- No ground was made up by current runner-up Trevor as his selection Rodri equalled Partey's 7.3 in Manchester City's rout of Manchester United in the Manchester Derby. He completed 96% of his 101 passes in 90 minutes.
- Andrew fell to fifth as John Stones saw his chances of a better score evaporate with one passage of play from the visitors. Despite having nearly the same passing record as Rodri, his lack of tackles and statuesque defending on Jadon Sancho's early equalizer left Stones at a 6.8.
- This means for the second time in three matchdays, those who relied on the Last Man In ended up with top score. Silky Ilkay Gundogan earned the duo of Greg and Ryan a 8.0 rating with a jam-packed ten minutes on the pitch with an assist on 16/17 passing including another big chance created other than the Mahrez helper.
- Optimally, either Matt or Greg could have had Kevin De Bruyne who nearly had himself a perfect afternoon with a 9.9 final rating. He scored a brace in the first half and assisted on Riyad Mahrez's first of two in the second half. He didn't misplace a single long ball in his 80 minutes before being substituted for Gundogan.
