- The Premier League relegation battle and the Pick One Challenge title race came down to the final day of the campaign. Everton was able to doom both Leeds and Leicester to the Championship, but things ultimately remained the same in the Pick One.
- He didn't add much to the drama that was Everton's 1-0 win over Bournemouth with over 10 minutes of stoppage time, but Ellis Simms did drop a quintet of 6.5's onto the final day of the Challenge.
- Trevor's first Crystal Palace selection of the season was a man in tremendous form, Eberechi Eze. Nevertheless, Palace had little to play in their final match and our eventual Challenge winner only got a 6.8 from his first foray into Selhurst Park.
- But taking home the final top score of the season was Pavli. He did so in poetic fashion with Liverpool's departing legend Roberto Firmino. While Bobby Chompers couldn't get him over the line with a 7.0, the Brazilian scored against Southampton in his final appearance with the club to cheers from his supporters and chants from the home side.
- Optimally, had any participant dug into the deep recesses of their soul they could have snared a 9.1 from Brentford's match-winner Ethan Pinnock who got a 9.1 for his goal from defense against the champions-elect.
- A final recap for the year will come in the coming weeks. Thank you to all that participated and/or followed along during this arduous season!!
